Virginia Transportation Research Council
Research Scientist - Multimodal
Charlottesville
I am most interested in multimodal transportation planning and operations: biking, walking, transit, driving, and how they interact with each other and with land use. Occasionally my work at the Virginia DOT’s research division, the Virginia Transportation Research Council, overlaps those interests. Before starting there in 2012, I was with JAUNT, a public transit agency in central Virginia. Before that, I was a transportation planner for Greensboro, NC and its MPO. I am a HooHeel: bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UVA and a master’s degree in transportation planning from UNC-Chapel Hill.
